Whirlpool Induction Cooktops
Whirlpool helps simplify traditional cooking with their innovative induction cooktops. Using induction technology, these tools turn the contact points of compatible cookware themselves into a cooking surface. This allows foods to cook faster, evenly, and are more energy efficient than gas and electric cooktops.
Whirlpool induction cooktops are available in 30” width sizes, making them a great fit for countertops in any kitchen. These stoves feature 4 elements that will have you cooking up a storm for a festive dinner party. One of the elements includes a Boost feature which increases the power from 2,500W to 3,200W with a simple touch of a button. As easy as it is to raise high temperatures, active zones can instantly be brought down to low temperatures with the Simmer function. This makes it perfect for delicately melting butter without burning it.
The cutting-edge technology found in Whirlpool’s induction cooktops not only prevent foods from being scorched, but also ensure items and fingers are safe from being burned. They are equipped with pan presence sensors that detect compatible cookware. If a pan in not placed on an active element within 30 seconds, cooktops will automatically turn off. If a cooking area is too hot to touch even after a zone has been turned off, the hot surface indicator displays an “H” in the heat setting display. The control lock can be used to prevent altered temperature adjustments and unintended use of the cooking surface.
One of the benefits of an induction cooktop is their sleek smooth top surface. You’ll be able to transfer heavy skillets from one zone to the next with little effort. The digital glass touch controls add to their contemporary look and delivers precise temperature control with just a few taps of your finger. Messy spills won’t even be a bother on the easy-wipe ceramic glass cooktop. A damp sponge or cleaning cloth is all it takes for a spotless surface.
