I scoffed at how my wife gushed about how good the water tasted from our neighbor's Thermador refrigerator water dispenser and thought nothing of it when we bought the same fridge. Wow. The water -is- markedly cleaner tasting than even the bottled stuff.

I do not understand the other negative reviews on this refrigerator. If I'd only taken them into account, I certainly would've run away from this fridge. I did, though, make my decision to purchase this Thermador based on thorough research from independent consumer journals that all sang its praises. I'm glad I chose to believe them because this fridge is brilliant.

I replaced my 7 year old Samsung refrigerator with it, and man, best decision I have ever made. It is a great refrigerator for the price. The temperature is well maintained and doesn’t make significant noise while operating as opposed to many reviews who are complaining about the noise level.
