Love the look, not as handy as I thought

I really, really love the way this looks in our kitchen. We kept our upright fridge in the garage but we wanted this to be more of a staging area for the weeks meals and things we grab for most often. However, a couple downsides, the drawers do not close very easily and the freezer temperature has a pretty direct effect to the refrigerator temperature. I assume it would a little, but things are freezing that are touching the bottom of the fridge drawer . . . Other than that I really like the unit. The price will always feel alike a punch in the gut lol but its what we wanted so we got it.

Pros: Beautiful and compact.

Cons: Drawers do not close easily enough and the freezer temperature has a big effect on the refrigerator temperature.

I bought this unit because I thought it was a better idea to pair it with a 36" counter depth fridge than to buy a 42 or 48" counter depth. For me it was a much better configuration. My wife more than once has said why don`t we just toss the big fridge and buy 2 more of these - she thinks the drawers are the only way to go! There are a lot of all freezer and all fridge units out there but this is the only one I found with a fridge AND a freezer drawer. To top it off the price was a relative bargain. Have had it about a month now - it is so quiet you have to open it to know its working which is what I did for the first few days.

Pros: Quiet, very handy!

rare to find this size drawer refrigerator , freezer combination with an ice maker. Ice maker makes ice quickly . The unit is quiet. Expensive,but it was worth the splurge.

Pros: ice maker, quiet

Cons: pricey
