Surprising quality, precision & design

I`m working to finish up a major remodel on one of four units in an older building, and am building cabinets to neatly fit around the fridge to result in an overall appealing esthetic design. Quality in the fridge is important to me, because I want it to last a long time, and I want it to look good. I hesitated to buy this fridge because, up to now, I`ve never heard of Summit. I`m super impressed with the build quality - the interior and exterior materials used, design details, fit and finish are all exceptional (I`m comparing to a different, 28-inch, 18-CF major brand fridge I bought for one of the other units in my building). Long story short: I`m a Summit convert. And yes, I`m just a guy who wants quality for my hard-earned dollar; I wasn`t paid for my review, and; I don`t work for Summit. I`m just super pleased with this fridge.

Summit does not stand behind it`s warranty on this refrigerator

9 months after purchasing this unit, a fan noise began and soon after the refrigerator stopped working. Difficulty getting Summit staff to recognize sale and provide service once a proof of purchase was provided. Gave up after three days. Do not bother to ask Appliance Connection to help you it`s not their problem either.

Pros: Fit in narrow spot

Cons: Not built to last

This is a great refrigerator for small kitchen and very narrow stairwells (like I have). I like adjustable shelves on the door, it makes so much easier to store assorted jars and sauces. And very smart design over all. I love it!

This fridge is nice, it looks sleek, modern, and is very quiet. I like the LCD display in the front, very easy to navigate and looks sharp. This saves sooo much floor space, I feel there should be more fridges available on the taller side (80+ inches).

Cons: With a fridge this taller, I would like just one more inch of height for storing a water filter jug.

Good ref slightly wider and a little denser would make it perfect but otherwise easy and so far seems good for value using 39 degrees instead of 40 to keep food cool and fresh

Love the smart design of this fridge. You can put it next to a wall and still open the drawers and remove the shelves. Cartons of milk and juice fit nicely in the door. Ice maker is great!! Only small negative is itï¿½s a little bit noisier than I would like. Would definitely recommend!

The Freestanding style of this model would fit in big kitchens as well as smaller ones. I had no idea that refrigerators had so many variations but Summit fridges seem to have everything we wanted and more!
