We were looking for a retro fridge and had some pretty specific size requirements due to the setup of our small mid-century kitchen. This fridge fits the bill. Everything about it is absolutely beautiful and well-made. The large lights in the refrigerator section make it easy to see everything. I like the 2 drawers in the fridge compartment; we use one for meat & cheese and the other for fruits & vegetables. With a hungry husband and teenagers in the house, the drawers help to keep things organized and fresher while folks stand there making decisions with the door open. The freezer drawers make it easy to "file" vegetables and meat away and make great use of the space. I love that there are glass shelves under each drawer as well if we ever needed additional space. It is also super quiet. I didn`t realize how much noise our old fridge made in our little house until this one arrived. Pricey? A little, but I expect our family will enjoy (yes, enjoy) this fridge for years to come. Appliances Connecton`s special financing helps too.

This refrigerator is a work of art! I have a TINY kitchen that I am in the process of remodeling and needed a refrigerator that has a smaller footprint. This model Smeg fit the bill. I have admired Smeg fridges for many years and have always wanted one. It's not the most practical and is a bit pricey, but it is absolutely beautiful and will be the focal point of my new kitchen. There is a bit less room in both the refrigerator and freezer sections, but for me it was exactly what I need. If you want a fridge that your friends will drool over, go with the Smeg. If you have a large family and want a fridge to fill with lots of stuff, the Smeg may not be for you. :)
