Not of good craftsmanship

This is the 3rd table from Ashley. I am not please with how it is made, but I did not want to send it back, again. There's wood repair marks (orange color) and the lift is not level when it is closed.

I love the look of this table. It looks great in my room. I’m a little disappointed in the function, though. I thought it would be good for my husband to be able to have a snack while he was watching tv, but it sits too far from the side to work because the reclining function of the sofa.

Eventually I like it but... the springs on each side of the lift top were not of equal tension so it did not close level. Tech came but nothing he could do. After a month of use and weighting one side it now closes properly.

Decent but just a few design issues

Good for working remotely. Raises to a good height for my laptop. Did arrive with some unravel boards on the sides and although it is distressed it’s annoying. Also since it’s not real wood a divot on the side catches on things and cannot be sanded without removing the paint
