I have had this microwave in black for several months and I am very pleased with it. I have to refer to instruction manual more than just a regular microwave altho my previous one was a micro/convection, it wasn`t as advanced as this one. The way it sensors foods is awesome. Can`t figure out how Sharp did it but if you don`t check your instruction manual untill you get accustomed to the way to use it with the different settings you will have hot spots. But for me the little time it takes to check the manual is worth it. I would recommend this to a friend

My Sharp microwave is exactly what I had hoped for....I wanted to add a convection oven to my kitchen but also wanted a larger rotating plate that was the same size as the plate in my older microwave unit....it is difficult to find microwave/convection units with these dimensions, and I was delighted not only with the style, but particularly the price!
