We haven't used all the features (we may never...many of the presets are things we don't do), but the features are there if we decide to. We had our previous microwave for 10 years, so the new one will take some getting used to. One minor thing is that the controls aren't as sensitive as we are used to. I'm sure we'll adjust to that without a problem.

1100 Watts, thought it was more powerful but doing okay. Have had it 6 months & it is still working very well. Not one problem so far. After reading some of the bad reviews Iâ€™m keeping my fingers crossed that this will be one of the good ones & keep on working for years. Have not used many of the functions yet. The popcorn function works but it needs to stop popping a little sooner . if you let it go to auto stop it slightly burns some of the kernels. I stop it with about 20 seconds left on the timer & the popped corn is perfect. It is a very nice design & fits in well with our other black Samsung appliances. Iâ€™ll send another review after we have owned this for a year. Hopefully it will still be positive.

7 months after having this microwave it has started to turn the fan on by itself as well as beep and say press start or ok and no one is near it or even has touched it. It even happens in the middle of the night.. very random. Service technician is coming to look at this but my loyalty to SAMSUNG products has fell a brand new microwave should not be having these issues. Ive noticed on the reviews alot of people have the same issue. DONT BUY.

I was very impressed with its ability to reheat pasta. Microwaved pasta always turns out so dry and sticky, but this microwave reheats pasta almost like it was made fresh. It takes a lot of opening and closing to pick the correct buttons (press reheat, open door, find the # for pasta, close door, etc) but the result is very worth it. The door is very large but if you stand at the right corner where it opens it is not an issue as must people have described. The light underneath is very bright and useful when cooking on the stove below and there are different setting of brightness. My husband loves using the popcorn button feature. My only complaint is that when frying something on the stove below the grease does splatter up on to the microwave and it needs to be wiped a few times with a soapy dishcloth to get the appliance looking shiny and new again and when wiping the front the buttons are easily pressed.

We've had the microwave for 2 weeks. It works wonderfully and is very quiet. The touch buttons do require a press but that's ok since they don't react to cleaning as easily. The stove top lights (2) are bright and let you see what's cooking very well. The installation was a nightmare. My husband is very precise and measures at least 2 to 3 times before proceeding. After the microwave was lifted into place, we found out that the paper template did not actually match the microwave. The location of the hole on the right is a quarter inch off. I would suggest you use the template but compare it to the top of the microwave before starting to see if they match. Beautiful addition to our kitchen.

Installed this Over the Range Microwave, along with a complete set of Samsung kitchen appliances, a few days ago and everything seems to work well except for the cooktop lights on the bottom of the microwave. The two cooktop lights (see photo) do not provide enough light to adequately and safely light the cooktop. It appears the lights are a proprietary part and I've been unable to find upgrade LED units that will provide more light. I've read other reviews that claim the cooktop lights are very bright which makes me wonder if my unit is defective, or possibly the lights have been redesigned recently.

this is my my first Samsung appliance and we love everything from the cook-top lights to the cooking features and functions. This is the third over the range microwave in 16 years and after much research my wife and I agreed on this model and have never looked back. we like it so much I am now looking for a Samsung range to match.

This microwave does not vent well to the outside . All settings are close to the same . When the fan is on high to vent it blows air outside well , but does not suck the air from the stove well . ? Any ideas ?
