to be honest, ive used this only as a gorgeous cheese board. I was going to use it as a wood cutting board but the wood grain and shape is so attractive that guests have commented on it. easy to clean up even with the stinkiest/gooiest cheese. plus it has little rubber feet so it wont slide around and damage delicate surfaces. its an easy way to add a touch of warmth to your cheese platter vs using just a plate.
