I received my NewAir AH-450B oil filled space heater today. The caster rollers were easy to install on the bottom and I use it in my family room where I sit to watch TV and read. The New Air AH-450 B is an excellent space heater to offset a chilly room. We tried this oil-filled heater in a room that wasn't adequately heated. Some noteworthy advantages we found were: User friendly in attaching wheel base and in programing the unit. Heats up in less than 5 minutes. Unit wheels easily; has a handy, accessible handle. Attractive silver/black framed panel encasing all the control buttons. The timer allows for 2-10 hours of heating at 2-hr intervals. The temperature control allows heat from 65 to 85 degrees, in 5 degree intervals. Can save on electricity by selecting the "economy" option. Fits into any room, with any décor -sleek, thin, and easy to wheel. If you want all the bells and whistles that a space heater can have, look no further ! We highly recommend this unit. (This is an unbiased review upon receiving this unit)

I like how thin and lightweight this heater is - it's also very quiet! It's perfect for my home office, it makes absolutely no noise. I love the timer and the actual digital temperature settings and the remote. Note that in the pic the cord is black, it's actually gray. Not a big deal but thought I'd mention it. I'm impressed with all the features - my parents one looks like a clunker next to this one!

The heater is great because I don't have to worry about it being too overpowering. It warms gradually and comfortably creating a cozy environment. The wheels make is so easy to move (I am currently 7.5 months pregnant) and easy to store when not in use. It is lightweight yet powerful enough to warm my kitchen and living room area very easily. I would definitely recommend this product! It is a updated and modern twist on a classic heater.

This is a WONDERFUL portable heater. I purchased this as a gift for my elderly father currently undergoing chemo. He gets VERY COLD VERY QUICKLY! He needed something MORE dependable than a little heater/fan. THIS WAS PERFECT. He stays warm! Mom doesn't have to have the entire house heated this way and she's more comfortable and economically it saves on the electrical bill! EVERYONE IS PLEASED!

NewAir's AH-450B is a snazzy little lightweight space heater that you'll want around for chilly bedrooms and home offices, and even if you simply would like to add some cozy warmth to a larger room (such as a living room; or in our case the open floor plan that means having two large rooms connected together with no walls in between).The AH-450B is electric, but it generates heat by heating up oil that is sealed inside seven fins - this design ensures super-quiet operation as well as efficient heat that doesn't take long to disperse into the room the space heater is placed in (tip: place it directly beneath a clockwise-rotating ceiling fan to help with dispersing and spreading the heat around). You can choose from five temperatures (65-85 in five degree increments) and three heat settings (eco for the least damage to your electric bill, low, or high), as well as a timer (2, 4, 6, 8, and 10 hours) if you like the idea of going to sleep in a warm room but don't want to leave a space heater on and unattended. And for the sake of convenience, be sure to use the included wireless remote to adjust settings or switch the space heater on or off from the comfortable warmth of wherever you happen to be - sofa, recliner, bed, etc.Finally, and most importantly, NewAir addresses all safety concerns: the AH-450B keeps the oil sealed inside its frame, the space heater will automatically switch off if it is tipped over, it has overheat protection built in, and I've never found it to be overly hot to the touch (so you don't have to worry about accidental burns). And its lightweight design (17.6 lbs total) + four caster wheels make it easy to move from one room to another - just wheel it along!Summary: NewAir's AH-450B Electric Oil-Filled Space Heater is great for bedrooms (and I can attest that it will make a bedroom with absolutely no heat comfortably warm within an hour's time!) as well as larger rooms (as a supplemental heating source), and it has all the bells and whistles of more expensive models, but without the harsh price tag.(Disclosure: I received a free product in exchange for my honest opinion.)
