    I bought this charcoal bbq becauuse of the name behind as I already have a Napoleon propane bbq, which I have for at least 12 years and it still works good. The reason I bought a charcoal bbq is because charcoal smoke gives it a great taste it’s different taste from the propane. I use both, when I ´m in a hurry, it’s propane otherwise Î’ll use the charcoal. I find it very easy to use, the thermometre is excellent and accurate retain the heat very good and very easy to clean. Wouldn’t trade for nothing else,

    As a long-time Weber owner and design engineer, I spotted a Napoleon Pro 22 on display at a local appliance store and immediately recognized it for exactly what it was, an improvement on ALL the classic Weber's key shortcomings. My family bought me one for Christmas. The beautiful sear stripes on our first batch of steaks were satisfying confirmation of the wisdom of our purchase, and since then we've been enjoying the grill on a regular basis, built to last with its multi-level folding cast-iron grate and hinged lid, and SO much better results than convenience grilling with LPG/CNG. Tip: Invest in the Napoleon heavy-duty cover like we did if your grill will be stored outdoors (to prevent unwanted stray rainwater from collecting in its underside ash pot).

    Bought this grill a couple of years ago, and I’ve never able to control the temperature... I tought hinged lid was a nice desing but I’ve never been able to adjust the hinges to make it airtight. I ended up giving it to my parents because they only use it to sear steaks on it. I ended up buying a Kamada...

    Great grill but problematic wheels/axel

    This grill is great for small spaces like my tiny deck, with high quality cast iron grill plates and great heat control. I had hoped it would also travel well for tailgating and camping. However, the cap that is meant to hold the wheel on has never been a tight fit, so the axel slips inside its housing and the wheel falls off when we try move the grill around. We now have the grill up on blocks, so its no longer portable, which is disappointing.

    Perfect grill for balcony

    I was looking for a grill with moderate dimensions, atleast two burners and excellent quality. Napoleons TravelQ Pro285X filled all these needs perfectly. I was able to place this grill on my balcony and still find space for dining furniture and other equipment. Two burners on the grill enable cooking with indirect heat which makes even smoking possible. Still I wouldn't call this a real smoker but equipped with smoker tube (67011) you can add nice flavor to even bigger cuts of meat. Napoleon TravelQ Pro285X is definitely not the most powerfull, but it is still very capable of bringing and keeping the temperatures at really high level. The cooking surface is large when taken account the grills moderate size. I have been able to fit over a 1,5kg tri tip on the grill and it took less than half of the grilling surface. That allowed me to slowly raise the temperature of the meat with indirect heat using only one burner. After two months experience with Napoleon TravelQ Pro285X I can warmly recommend it.
