    Took longer than expected to assemble as instructions only have pictures of several models so have to read them carefully on each page. Overall grilling quality and temperature regulation is excellent. Food has been cooked the way expected.

    I just got my P500 about a month ago. I got this model because I didn’t want the side tables, which are removable. Wow, this thing looks great and gets hot, fast! I can’t wait to do ribs this weekend. I ordered the smoker box and am considering the charcoal box as well.

    A significant step up in quality. Great fit/finish manufacturing of the grill. Great materials...good quality. The color coding of the controls seemed like a cute design element but, in reality, they actually provide clear indications as to whether a burner has been left on or not. Very pleased with this grill, so far. (new owner)

    Within 3 weeks the side tray is developing rust looking stains and bbq is covered with Napoleon cover. Also, after using twice grates and insides look like they’ve been used for years.

    Having fun with this grill so far. I've added the smoke box and used the rotisserie. Seems like a fun grill, built well and looks good. The SIZZLE Burner works extremely well. I live in a costal salt water area so only time will tell how this grill holds up but so far so good. 10 Times better built then the normal box store regulars.

    Perfect except for three annoying issues

    Cooks chicken thoroughly but moist once the proper flame dial position was found. I have now learned to cook with the cover closed. I dislike the amount of flare ups and the amount of grease collected on the burner shields. I will be cleaning them soon so hopefully they have protected the burners. What I dislike the most is the smoke that billows out when the cover is opened when cooking burgers or steaks. It makes it impossible to see when it drifts right into ones eyes. This is not caused by wind. Working on a solution, possibly a fan. Is there a better cure? Again leaning to cook steaks with a nice sear while the cover is close closed. Again too many flare ups which over charred the meat until learned to be more vigilant.

    I have a Prestise 500 and I am very Happy with it, first class! Also got the SS Grid Scraper #62031 which works Really Well and the SS Smoker Box #67013 works but you need to pick up the grilling grate to fill/refill it, not a good idea because it is hot, oilly, has food on it. Better if a Smaller replacement grate would be used, so you could use it and take the smoker box lid off and on.

    I purchased a Prestige 500 to replace my MHP grill that I used for 26 years after very careful research. I liked the design of the Prestige 500 and the build quality, and assembly was not a problem. I LOVE this grill and we have enjoyed many great meals from it - fish, pork, beef and more. The rotisserie is fabulous for chicken - incredibly moist and flavorful. My main reason for the purchase was to get a larger grill area - I often cook meat, potatoes and veggies at the same time so cooking area needs to be big enough. I have been using my grill for almost six months now, and I can say that it is capable of generating an enormous amount of heat which can be challenging to moderate the temps to avoid burning the food. I will also note that I got the basic 500 Prestige grill - no side or rear burners needed for me.
