very noisy blower

Bought the stove 3 years ago and the contractor had to change the blower twice on the warranty. The third blower was producing less noise but after 3 years, the blower is very noisy when the metal expands and contracts. Wakes me up at night.

Love these Napoleon Stoves

I have had two of these Napoleon stoves. I used one to heat the main core of my 1883 remodeled home in Cheney, and another smaller pedestal on the coast of OR. They have been great, radiant heat. Very reliable. I recently replaced the blower on my current 13 year old unit. I believe it was German made and had worked very efficiently and quietly over the past 22 years, so, I can’t complain. I like how simple they are to install, and how the radiant heat is almost as nice as a wood stove. And, these Napoleons show a wonderful flame from three sides. Can you tell I am sold?

We have a Havelock fire place installed not only does it look nice it is our reliable heating source on the main level allowing us to turn down the baseboard heaters and save us money .. I would highly recommend this product and the quality of Napoleons work is top notch

Nice to look at, but noisy. Fan runs nearly constantly & loudly. No emergency switch off unless you turn off gas supply on the floor. Fire will continue to run when batteries die on the thermostat making room unbearably and dangerously hot. Loud vibration coming from back of unit and top/side of the unit. Buy something else, folks. It's nice that its a direct vent, tho.
