5 Tasty Recipes to Try on National Poultry Day
We purchased premium Miele ovens (we have three of them) based on the distinctive functional capabilities and reputation for strong engineering. There no doubt that these are premium priced products, and we anticipated premium performance to match. Functionality and performance really are quite good. We did not find good competitive products that shared the same functions and performance along with simple styling. Furthermore, we were able to configure these three ovens as independent units in the same cabinet, and they look like one. It would be nice if the software were updatable, but it`s not because the ovens are not networked in any way. Even simple functions like setting the clock is made more complex than it could be (and synchronizing three clocks is an impractical task). A final an very important part of the product is quality. We expected premium quality and a company that stands behind the product. Our experience here has not been good. The products fail more often than expected, the company representatives blame the customer for clear manufacturing issues, and service (even under warranty) is expensive. Being more specific, we had oven racks start to rust at weld joints early on. The company suggested that we should not allow the racks to be used in a hot moist environment and that the issue is "cosmetic." Remember, this is a steam oven that by design cooks with hot water in the environment. The outcome here is short of what`s expected. Taking it all together, buy for the style, function, and features; wish for better connectivity; and expect to pay for maintenance, even for what should be covered by the warranty.
