Overall this is a great machine with a quality feel. It looks good inside and out and matches other brands in my kitchen. I love the chunky handle and the stainless steel really does resist fingerprints and other smudges. The door effortlessly opens and closes and stays right where you put it. It's beyond quiet, to the point we've had to specifically listen for it to confirm it's running. I've only had it for a little over a week, so I'm still learning how best to load it, but it comfortably fits a full days worth of dishes (breakfast, lunch and dinner) for 2. Cleaning performance is top notch. I'm not one to rinse anything before putting it in and everything has come out spotless. The Autodos system is unique and works well with everything coming out perfectly as described above. I'm not sure I'll continue buying the powerdisks though because they are much more expensive than the higher end Cascade pods that clean just as well. I have a Miele Washer with Twindos and that is much more useful and cost effective, in my opinion. The door automatically opens at the end of the cycle, which is great! We used to manually prop open the door of our old dishwasher to help everything dry and prevent the machine from becoming smelly. If I had any negative things to say about it, it would be that there is an artificial 4 second interrupt timer on everything you do with the machine. Once you turn it on, you have 4 seconds in between each button press or it will pause and lockout the controls. You have to press OK to unlock the controls and continue making selections. If you use the delay start feature and you open the machine after "starting" it to add another item, you have to press OK again before you close the door. It's annoying. My previous Bosch dishwasher did not have any of these limitations and worked exactly as anyone would expect. Thankfully being wifi enabled, this annoyance could be fixed with a software update. Lastly, speaking of technology. There's an app. It's OK. It's slow and quicker to just use the controls on the machine. I use it primarily to be notified when wash/dry cycles are done on my Miele W/D. I've not come across an appliance manufacturer yet that has a great app, so I'd say the Miele one is on-par with everyone else. I wish appliance manufacturers would either work with a company that has expertise in UX/Backend Infrastructure or poach employees from companies that do.
