Miele washers are our favorite and our previous one lasted 28 years. It was repairable but given the cost, it made more sense to buy a new Miele washer that would last. Thus far,(a few months) it has been fantastic and outperformed the older one. The fit and finish is top notch and seems to have been engineered with all the robustness expected. It is quiet and rock stable even at high rpm settings. Clothes come out very clean with the right program of which there are choices. The drum is surprisingly large and thus we end up doing fewer loads, saving time. It takes sheets and standard comforters one at a time with ease. The delicate cycle is also very convenient. The panel is well designed and the learning curve to use it is very short as it is intuitively laid out. The honeycomb drum performs as advertised. It is recommended that the door and the detergent dispenser be left ajar when not in use to dry out everything as in all front load washers. Important: The plug is a three prong curved one laid out in a circle and should not be cut or modified as it voids the warranty. Instead, the wall plug receiver should be replaced to fit (an inexpensive change). It is a 240 V 30 Amps plug which will need its own dedicated breaker. See video attached. Appliance Connection delivery was prompt and the phone staff were courteous and professional.
