Retired two person fixed income household. We were interested in reliability, warranty, cost and obviously how well the washer cleans. The washer fit the bill perfectly. Warranty 5/10, very economical cost compared to the fancy fancy washers. No easy to fail digital read outs. All mechanical controls. The washer came with high quality supply and discharge hoses. The washer handles clothes, bed linen and heavy towels and covers easily and our unit is very, very quiet when compared to our prior washer which was a 17 year old Maytag. The professional (really) delivery service out of Charlotte removed the packaging outside and put the washer right outside our laundry room (first floor). I positioned, setup and leveled the washer. Doing business with Appliance Connection was great. The purchase and delivery in SC was painless. The 12 month same as cash offer was a bit lengthy but probably necessary in this day and age. Appliance Connection will be my first stop when our old gas dryer dies (also 17 years old)

I live in a tiny house so I don't have the room for both a washer and dryer. This is why I really appreciate the maximum extraction feature on this Maytag washer. My clothes no longer come out sopping wet and are ready to wear after just hang drying overnight.

I'd become so used to my old washer leaving lint balls all over my clothing that I figured that was just my life now. After it finally conked out, I picked up this Maytag washer and it's a revelation. Everything comes out of the wash completely clean and lint-free.

Good washer, poor delivery

The washer itself is outstanding. The closest thing you can get the old fashioned machines that actually get your clothes clean in about half an hour. Unlike the new trash that uses no water and runs for 1-2 hours, doesn`t get your clothes clean, and has too many moving parts and sensors that can break. Stay away from AppCon though. Don`t get suckered in by the low prices and "free" delivery. They use cut rate delivery providers like AM Trucking that miss their estimated delivery dates and then are utterly incapable of proactively reaching out to schedule a convenient time. After about 10 calls and countless hours wasted sitting on hold, they told me they could deliver it at night to prevent missed time from work. They finally delivered it 29 days after ordering...at 4pm. Good thing the in-laws were there to receive it. What did AppCon do to make sure their selected delivery service was keeping their customers expectations met? They sent 1 email...way to go guys, don`t overexert yourselves.
