After setting up this dryer, I put the first load in right away. When I heard it chime 40 minutes later, I thought, "No way it could be done already!" Checked on the load and everything was thoroughly dry. Can't wait to see if it keeps working this well.

I had to replace my old dryer because it was incredibly loud and started "walking." I wanted a new dryer that would be stable and quiet, but still powerful enough to dry my loads in a reasonable amount of time. This dryer does just that! We got this Magic Chef dryer during the Memorial Day sale on AppliancesConnection.com and it's been straight up amazing. There is a cycle or feature for everything imaginable. Linens? Yup. Heavy blankets? Yup. Clothes are light work for this machine.

I need to assure that this is a real review because it seems like everyone thus far just has general disdain for Magic Chef products. I purchased this dryer three years ago after a ton of research that turned up a trove of positive feedback. I can only affirm my original impressions as this dryer has done its job thoroughly, efficiently, and with no issue despite pretty rigorous use. If I had my druthers, I wouldn't have chosen any other dryer.

I was housesitting for a friend a year ago and they had this exact dryer. I couldn't get enough of it. I'm not ashamed to say I brought almost all of my clothes over in that week to do laundry. When they told me they'd owned it without any problems for three years, I got rid of the hateful dryer that I had and bought one for myself right away.
