quiet, cools 800 sq feet well, high temperatures here sometimes 90 F, humidity can be hight, AC cools and lowers humidity well. Well designed for window insertion for double hung window. Follow instructions closely to install. Took me two hours. Unit is secure in window and sealed well with parts provided. I would buy it again. I have been using it for several months during warmest days in Milwaukee WI.

Very happy with the unit�s performance. It is able to cool my 800 sq ft first floor with ease and did not seem to significantly impact my electric bill. Be aware that the unit is very heavy. We ended up purchasing a hydraulic lift cart to lift it up to window height. Also be aware that the power cord is very short. We ended up having to buy a heavy duty 240v extension cord online and wait an extra week to use it because the cord Couldn�t reach the outlet. Overall great performing air conditioner.

I read many reviews on this product. To my surprise it is VERY quiet and it cools my 1300 sq ft living area with ease. It doesn`t constantly run. So far...I`m impressed!

You never hear the compressor engage. It�s silent. The fan is also very quiet. Internet app works great. So does remote. Delivery was very fast (3 days) and by fedex, for free. Awesome AC and transaction.

We bought this unit to cool our first floor of our house which is about 800 ft.�. It works well and much quieter than previous unit. However we didn�t realize until we tried to take it out it is a permanent install when you put it in. Once you attach the front cover it connects with the metal sleeve in the window so if you follow the directions and screw the unit into your windows so you can never get those screws out because the cover blocked them.

this a/c is the real deal, just installed 14K BTU to replace a Frigidaire 12K BTU a/c that was marketed as super quiet and its night and day. amazing how quiet the LG is and how well it cools the room. the a/c i replace wasn`t even a year old and sounded like an old lawnmower compared to the LG, which is just a soft whisper. will definitely be purchasing another for my bedroom where i have the a smaller BTU but same Frigidaire model that i replaced with the LG and its got to go, immediately..lull me to sleep with your siren song you beautiful machine..

The air conditioner is amazing, better than expected. Love the remote and phone app. Wish it could wrap air around rooms better in my apt but I would expect the same problem from any AC. Would highly recommend this. Also the energy usage seems low thus far, I run it quite a bit.

Extremely happy with the AC. Very quiet and cools the entire downstairs floor. My complaint is that sitting near it is a little bit too cool but is that really a problem with an AC? I also had to change the outlet for it as I had the incorrect plug for it.
