Troubleshooting: Failed Top Load Washing Machine Parts
I couldn't be happier with this compact washer. It’s perfect for one person and an apartment. Operation is quiet, and the spin cycle (even at the highest) is well-balanced and quiet. Clothes come out nearly dry. Features I love include a Drain+Spin — which you will use if you have overloaded the washer and it can’t get the load balanced well enough to spin the contents dry (take out some of the contents and use Drain+Spin to get them rung out). I’ve used several cycles so far, and each works well for the type of load. I’ve been using the Tide pods (one per load, as this is a small washer). I tested with some really dirty clothes, and they came out perfectly clean. The only thing I looked for on this washer was a tub light (like the big LG has). One design consideration for LG is to think about using higher-contrast lettering on the control panel (or to back-light the entire panel). Beneath each selection is the name of the selection (Gray background with black lettering). This might be hard for some folks to read without direct light.
