Up until now, the only choice in inverter microwaves was one other company. When LG finally came out with one, I knew it would be great. LG added fantastic touches such as an easy to clean interior, far better lighting, a smooth exterior and simple to use functions. For the price, you simply can`t beat it.

Pros: Easy cleaning, great lighting, smooth front, simple functions

Cons: The only con I have is that it would be nice if the sensor reheat didn`t need guidance on what type of food I`m reheating.

Microwave with Smart Inverter Magnatron with a 10 year guarantee ...After the demise of a ten year old unit, we researched and purchased this microwave...It is the best unit we have could have purchased...It senses when food is cooked through by measuring the steam the food generates...No cords or probes!...After a few "trial" runs, this unit does everything the description says it will do...Some caution needs to be exercised at first because this unit is juiced with 1200 watts of power...It is easy to learn, easy to clean, and fits nicely on the counter top under cabinets...We could not be more pleased with any other unit...The price offered by Appliances Connection was hands down the lowest on the internet, and Then They Ship It At NO Charge!...Delivery was about 5 days...While we currently live on the south shore of Lake Erie,we are building a new home in North Myrtle Beach, SC, and all of our appliances will be purchased from this company...They are knowledgeable concerning product information, both courteous and professional, and follow up on the buyer`s experience...I really would recommend this company...They have seemingly managed to connect old-school shopping with digital technology...Well done...

Very satisfied. The only thing i miss is the ability to use the keypad to enter digits for cook/timer duration. The +/- keys work but are not as easy.

I have gone through Samsung, Kitchen Aid, and GE microwaves which were all annoying. Finally this one has the soft touch keys I was looking for. It is the same touch as a smart phone, has a beautiful exterior, the door is solid and opens from the side as a full unit rather than a part of the front face, giving it a more solid feature. Front surface is smooth so easy to clean. It plays a tune when the cycle is finished but stops once the door is open, unlike others that continue to beep even when you`ve opened the door. The defrost feature was easy to understand and works beautifully. This is the 1.5 cu Ft model and it is huge inside. I love everything about this machine and wish I`d found it several years ago. Appliance Connection has the best prices usually though it may take longer to receive your order, its worth the wait. We`ve bought several appliances from this online store.

I only cooked oat meal in it before. It works excellent on that. the SC-5. Cooked at just the right temperature, and not bubble up. These new electronics and appliances are pretty technical. Make sure you read the directions. Even the video tutorials help on line help out. Can`t tell what it`s actually doing. It seems to keep on cooking after the countdown starts. I`m old school. Like the numbered keypad. I looked them up after I bought this one, and it seemed the numbered keypad ones cost a lot more like a thousand. I tried to reheat a dish once out of the refrigerator. Maybe didn`t have the right setting. At first there`s no countdown. Can`t tell how long it will take. Then it starts counting down later. I stopped it right after the countdown started, and it seemed overheated. Don`t know if the re-heat is for refrigerated left overs, of food cooled off from sitting on the table. LG brand products are excellent to get overall. Use open source software. Don`t know what it is for a microwave though. It cooks a lot better than old microwaves, and would recommend getting one. The LMC1275 was best buy on Consumer Reports. Don`t order that one. Don`t make it any more. This one is a good substitute. It took a month to ship. They had to switch it to this model.

Sleek design and if a microwave can be fun to use, it�s a little fun with the slide timer. Wheels under the inner glass table are not all round which is very odd and why I have it 4 stars on meets expectations. Why would anyone make a square �wheel�? Odd. Anyway. Great value for the price and although the delivery time was long, appliancesconnection.com set the expectation and met it. I would use them again.
