When we purchased a washer and dryer for our son's family, we also purchased the pedestals. I am short and didn't really think that I needed them, however after using our son's, I realized it was very convenient so that a person doesn't have to bend over to get the clothes out of the machine. Great concept.

This LG washer has so many options on it I don't even know where to begin! It can hold a ton of clothes and I don't feel it's sacrificing washing power with those large loads. Pick the appropriate cycle and this washer gets the job done!
