Door Button Broke in 3 Days! Don't Buy!

After 3 days the door Button stopped working. Door wouldn't open. Called store and they came to fix with a new part a week later. The door broke that same night trying to heat up leftovers. GE sent a replacement unit ... The door Button is starting to give. I see now online it's a known issue yet they still sell it. WTH I thought Profile was top line? This is not a good unit for the $$$ BEWARE!

Recommended Product:

The slate color is great. This microwave has a few more features that what I used to have. You can turn off the sound for the buttons and the beep that it makes when finished. It also has a lock button, which is nice when you are trying to clean the control panel.

The button that pops the door open has to be pressed multiple times to open the door. It’s so loud to open and shut the door that it can’t be used if anyone in the house is sleeping. My kids struggle to even get the door open without my help. And there are always fingerprints on the black surface, no matter how often I wipe it down. I guess the actual microwave works fine, I just avoid using it whenever possible because of all the other reasons above.
