We have actually replaced this microwave because it was too small for the built-in cabinet "box" in which we were going to place it and it kept slipping and sliding (but that was our fault) but mostly because the power was so low that it took MUCH longer to heat anything than the previous (and admittedly larger and therefore more powerful) microwaves we in the past, so we are not comparing apples to apples. If this is the largest microwave you can use for some reason, it might be just fine.

I purchased this GE compact microwave a few weeks ago and am very happy with it! I use it simply for defrosting, warming, reheating, etc.. It's easy to operate,quiet, works perfectly, and looks great on my countertop without taking up much space. The signal is a little loud, but OK.

I have had this mcrowave for three weeks. I donated my old, workable tank of a microwave which weighed overt 35 pounds and took up too much counter space. The GE is the right size for my wife and me. It looks great and has been a pleasure to use. I only use it to reheat items and cook frozen vegetables. It takes a little longer to do this because of the low wattage, but I am willing to put up with this for its small size and convenience.

I have just used this for a couple of days. It did not arrive with much instruction but anyone who has used a microwave can figure it out easily. One review said it moved when opening the door. I found the secret to keep it from moving was to use the first part of the separated button which is clearly marked. I am hoping it lasts a long, long time.
