Fell apart after one use

The second time I tried to use this dishwasher the top rack detached from the inside wall and fell. It`s unrepairable, so GE bought it back. The rack on my old dishwasher was attached with eight 3/4 inch screws. This GE rack is held in place by small tabs on the rack rail which fit into small shallow holes in the tub wall. It`s a poor design. I bought this one because I have a GE refrigerator that`s 30 years old and still going strong. Not so much with this dishwasher.

Happy I got this unit. It was offered for a great price and customer service was nothing but excellent. I like how this unit has 16 place settings, for enough provided room for my loads of dishes as well as the dry boost with fan assist but best of all and my favorite is that it operates very quietly! Never felt this satisfied owning a dishwasher. Thank you Appliances Connection!

BEST. DISHWASHER. EVER!! If you�re in the market for a dishwasher I highly recommend this one. We do not rinse dishes anymore. At all. (We do scrape them). This thing gets my dishes so clean, even if they sit a few days (again, no rinsing!). It has a 3rd rack on top for things like measuring cups, serving utensils, etc. (I use this every time). The biggest selling point for me was that it has a built in disposal. I wasn�t real confident in that working well, but it is a beast. Zane checked the filter again after 4 months of use and it�s completely empty. Makes a huge difference since we don�t have a sink disposal. We have always just had the cheapest dishwashers until this one. It�s actually saving us money as we don�t run the faucet to rinse dishes and it�s Energy Star compliant. Our water and electric bills have been super cheap (even using the dry cycle). It�s also super quiet. We don�t hear it at all. I just can�t say enough good about this thing. I know it�s nerdy and too much adulting but this machine has changed my life. Highly recommend!!

Everything is breaking!

4 wheels are frequently falling off the bottom racks ( there are 8), and the spinning arm falls off the top rack every time I load it. Appointment scheduled 2 weeks out from call! First trip was within 24 hours because of the sticky pads would not hold the dishwasher in place. I have granite countertops. They came back to do a better side mount because it was literally tipping out of place. Third rack at top does not clean silverware well.

Not Happy with this Dishwasher 2 years old

When this product worked, it cleaned very well. I just don't understand how something 2 years old can fail. I bought everything GE in our new construction home because we loved the black stainless. Double oven, refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, down to the haier wine-fridge. Went through the checks online through YouTube because I am a DIY person and tried fuse, door latch, and now replaced UI interface in the door and I now have power back in the door. Now the door glitches(for lack of better term) once every 60 seconds and will not run a cycle. Meanwhile I had to buy the part from parts town in Dayton Ohio because GE has a it on back order until 8/1/22. I have young kids and I have to watch bottles and sip cups by hand now for 2 months. No I bought the part at a different site and no instructions on if the dip switches need to be specific to the model since they sell user interface boards for more than one unit. I call today and GE is sending someone out July 5th. I am close but there is not information online probably because product is new. My challenge is at what point does this make sense to keep buying parts. Overal frustrated customer that reads this product has had many same problems and has been discontinued. All the parts have already been moved as well. I am thinking this is about to be a money pit that I keep just throwing money into when I should have left the ego at the door and went into a different direction. But I usually like the challenge.

Great upgrade from our previous builder grade dishwasher. It is much quieter, cleans better, and overall looks better than the old one. The only downside is it doesn’t dry the dishes as well as we expected from the marketing material, but still better than our old one.
