My wife and I read many reviews about different brands of French Door Refrigerators, and we were scared. These models are expensive, and many people complain about the noise of the engine or the noise of the ice maker + another issues, but we found this Café Model, it is big, smooth engine, no noise at all. So our recommendation is if you want a French door refrigerator stop looking, buy this one!!! Just check the dimensions of the space in your kitchen this is big and nice!!!

This product has really sold me. Advanced Features like hot water and advanced water filters saves me money. Advanced Compact Design gives me more storage in the same amount of space as my old side by side. And GE is placing "American Workers" back to work with their Kentucky Assembly plant.

We are thrilled with our new GE cafe refrigerator. the French door style makes the unit feel much larger and highlights the fresh foods much more prominently. This unit was a bit large and difficult to get into our home, however after removing the drawer and handles we were able to do it.the ice capacity was a concern additionally, but has been sufficient thus far. Additionally we have found the hot water feature to be me just a minor feature. Overall we are thrilled with our new refrigerator and we`re very happy with the value provided by AppliancesConnection.

So far, we just love this fridge. It has a ton of space, although the ice maker compartment is quite small. So far, so good!

Pros: Cooling space very large! Hot water dispenser works great!

Cons: Ice maker compartment is small

This GE Café French Door refrigerator was featured at the 2013 CES and in my opinion all the great reviews were accurate! LG and Samsung refrigerators will finally have some serious competition from an American manufacturer. The most innovative feature is the hot water dispenser on the door. It works but I wished that it can dispense hot water faster. Bright LED lights (clear and colored) illuminate a roomy interior. Although, I think that the GE designers should enlarge the upper part some more and reduce the freezer space. You can also store about 90 JPEG photos by using a USB port for the slide show on your door. We have more than enough ice for a family of five but every family will be different. It also uses one the best water filtration systems to deliver great tasting water and ice. General Electric can be proud of this product and hopefully continue to innovate and improve American made products! GREAT JOB GE!!

Delivered just over 2 weeks ago. Delivery was top-notch (via local Home Depot). Fridge is fantastic - produce is already lasting noticeably longer than former fridge. Fingerprints on outside cleaned up with one round of cleaner/polish, and don't seem to be an issue. I can hear it running (sometimes), but wouldn't consider it loud as some others have - but I don't spend quiet time in/near the kitchen. Things I didn't notice before I bought it: the drawers' handles are on the bottom of the drawers. Different - but already used to it. The water/ice lever pressure-to-activate is on the bottom, and with some glasses it leaves a broad opening for minor splashing. Would suggest to GE to somehow narrow the ice opening - it really doesn't need to be that wide. The hot water is super-handy. It's not instant, but still better, faster, easier than a teapot on the stove. Love that I can open either door without needing to open the other. Definitely recommended. And, Made In KY is a huge bonus.

This refrigerator has everything one can wish a refrigerator to have. It is energy star so it allows me to help the environment and myself by saving on energy costs. The hot water dispenser features is very unique and useful.The freezer is huge! The enclosed bins prevents food from "dripping" to the bottom of the freezer before it is frozen. It is a remarkable refrigerator overall and I am happy with it.
