Bought new fridge from big box store but they could not get the ice maker. I could not find it, even from manufacturer. Appliance Connection had the part, had knowledgable staff and I had the icemaker within days. Very happy!

Works well, fairly easy to install. Had to do some research as to why unit produced ice so slowly. Critical to know: due to thermostat in unit, you must turn freezer temperature way down low, at least initially. None of the literature explains this; only learned from excellent user comments on other web sites. Otherwise, quite pleased with my purchase & delivery. (Note: I have installed ice makers in other brands of refrigerators, where designs were superior and results more pleasing. This is a Frigidaire issue, not an Appliances Connection shortcoming.)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought the ice maker in May when I purchased a new refrigerator. The ice maker was installed by the the technician where it was purchased. The ice maker seemed to work fine for a few months. It has now stopped working. Should have worked more than 7 months.
