The 2004 Concord RV came withan Appolo Microwave no longer made in a 24" wide position over its gas range, but without outside vent. The Forte microwave was best of four on the market that could fit that width. The Forte usable inside space was much bigger. Its LED lighting and surface keypad was much improved over the original. Since its door opens into the space beyond the 24", the wooden cabinet required 3 1/4" of its adjacent side to be sawed off, filled, and repainted. To bring the Forte flush with the face of its overhead cabinet space, a 2 1/2" back mounting board was screwed to the existing mount exactly as the template supplied. The aluminum allow strip supplied was attached with multiple screws but would be much stronger if manufactured with stainless steel . An outside vent 10" on length available through Lowe's mated easily to the Forte vent outlet, sealed with silicone culk from the inside. All features function great just as avertised.
