Electrolux Induction Cooktops
Electrolux induction cooktops come in 30” and 36” width stainless steel units with four or five cooking elements. Cooktops are equipped with two rectangular elements which have special features - a Bridge and a Power slide. The former can merge two elements together to create a large cooking zone meant for bigger cookware like griddles. Power Slide keeps one element on the highest power level and the other element on the lowest, making the transition from, let's say, boiling water to simmering water, seamless.
Control Electrolux induction cooktops using an interactive and easy-to-use cooktop control. Besides turning each cooking zone on or off, you can also slide a finger to change cooking zone power levels and set a timer to track the progress of your meal.
The lowest power level is designed to keep food warm. These induction cooktops have a special feature called Serve Warm which keeps food at serving temperature after it has finished cooking. The highest power level is called MAX and is meant for bringing water to a boil and searing meats quickly. A unique feature called Precise Temperature Control will adjust power levels to changes in the temperature of the cooktop (from adding certain foods to boiling water, for example), and will also alert you when the cooktop is preheated.
Electrolux induction cooktops come with a special Key-Stuck function which automatically locks the appliance if a control key is held for more than 10 seconds. It also comes with a child safety lock button that you press and hold to lock the appliance to stop curious little fingers from fiddling with the controls. This feature is great for when cleaning the cooktop. Whether cleaning the control panel or the stainless steel itself, use a soft, damp cloth and gently run it over the cooktop. There is no need to dig between burners to scrape burnt food anymore.
Complement your induction cooktop with one of the stylish stainless steel Electrolux range hoods or match it with a high-quality Electrolux wall oven for a complete kitchen redesign. Shop now.
