I put the enigma x 2 wall shower door system in our fully remodeled master bath. The job was probably my biggest renovation challenge except our kitchen, and the DreamLine shower door system is one of the highlight features.
It is very well made. A little intimidating and you must follow the instructions as others mention. Also, as the instructions say, make sure yours and floor are plumb and level.
I think I read the instructions 10 times before starting, but it was worth it. Th hardware is top grade, and there are no short cuts, or cheap materials. I would buy this product again. I am not professional contractor but I am comfortable with most DIY.

I’m an older advanced DIYer and just completed the installation of a Dreamline Enigma X sliding shower door in my basement. This is a newly finished basement so I was able to do all the work myself and make sure the shower door opening was plumb and the curb level. I used a Schluter Kerdi system for the pan and curb and used a quartzite 6†x 60†slab for the threshold. I could not be happier with the result! This shower door is exceptionally well made and engineered. Everything fit perfectly and installed as described in the manual, although I relied a lot on the installation video on YouTube. There was a small error in the installation instructions regarding the size of hole to drill for the #12 guide block on the threshold. The instructions assume your titled curb is over a wood base which is only one option for building a curb Other than that, the installation went very well, in part due to the way all the parts were labeled and packaged. It could not have been put together any better! This obviously is a first class operation. My only regret is that my basement shower is now much nicer than the shower in my master bedroom

The shower door was a bear to put up. The instruction that came with the shower door was confusing. I had to go to dreamline's website and download better instructions.
Once we installed the door, it looks absolutely fabulous.

This door was exactly what I had hoped for - it operates very smoothly and has a very substantial weight to it so it does not feel like a flimsy store bought add-on door. The ClearMax coating is wonderful and all of the hardware is very robust. I would recommend an installer who has experience with good commercial grade doors.

Had a bathroom completely remodeled including the removal of a tub a shower installed. This frameless door is beautiful, heavy and rolls easily. Just understand there is no adjustment on this model for an out of plumb wall as the manufacturer has stated. Also, DO NOT attempt to install this door on your own. Call a professional installer. In the end you'll be happy you did! I highly recommend Dreamline shower doors.

I installed this myself with help 2 months ago. I've handled much bigger projects but didn't enjoy this one. I didn't go with professionals as it costs too much money and time. Reading some other reviews and going through the install process, don't know if pros could've done a better job, especially if they haven't done this before. The manual needs a lot of improvement. It needs better pictures and not confuse the installer with steps for different models which are not relevant to the purchased product. An installation video on your website would help a lot and not overwhelm first time installers. After installing it once, I got the hang of it. I knew all the parts, where they went and how to adjust them. The first time I installed my mind was fully focused on keeping the glass safe and didn't get somethings right. Although didn't notice anything wrong with the install, I undid everything and redid with minor adjustments without following the manual this time just for peace of mind. A major problem I had was stainless steel screws that went into studs were not long enough, so had to wait for a few days for the box store to send them as they don't carry longer stainless steel screws in-store.
The shower door itself is well made, well packaged and delivered on time. Dreamline customer service on the phone and email is very good. Installation requires a metal cutting saw, drill with bits to drill into tile and wood, lot of time and patience. I am happy with the door so far, but knowing what went into it, can't tell if it was worth it.
