Missing my portable dishwasher

See review below. I cannot use my dishwasher because I do not have the correct faucet adapter to hook up. Had a a bad leak and the super replaced the faucet adapter with another one that is not suitable for the dishwasher. I NEED TO GET A NEW FAUCET ADAPTER as I have not been able to use my dishwasher for 5 monthsl.

Works okay but has flaws

Can't fit a lot in it and huge design flaw in having the utensil holder too close to the soap dispenser. My dishes clean best when the utensil holder is removed. It took me a lot of trial and error to figure out why my dishes weren't getting clean & the soap was not dispensed. If you use the sections of the utensil holder close to the door, the soap dispenser will not open until you open the door yourself.

I wish I’d done this 5 years ago when I started looking. I’m so over the moon happy with my new best friend! I’ve run this 6 times in 4 days. I was able to get all my hoses connected tightly with zero issue. The faucet adapter did give me some frustration, but I worked it out and it did fit my older faucet. Is it big? Yes. I used an empty box with close dimensions to give me a good visual, but I do highly recommend measuring. It cleans so well and I’ve washed every dish I can think of. I think it’s pretty quite and once I made a cheat sheet with the cycles & times, it’s beyond simple to work. I even love that it tells you when it’s done.

I bought this dishwasher some months ago, the UPS guy who delivered it was impressed with it's size and plans to get one for himself. I am very satisfied with this little guy, it's much quieter than my previous and does a very good job, holds a good amount of dishes and is perfect for my studio apt. Very easy to set up.

This is my second Danby dishwasher; I only retired the first one, after over 20 years of faithful service, because I could no longer find maintenance parts. But I'm not disappointed. This new unit performs at least as well, if not better, than the original, with more space for dishes and more cycle options. And don't forget the flexibility to wash pots and pans, not just place settings! I would definitely recommend this to anyone with a small kitchen and no room for a standard built-in dishwasher.

Better than Expected!

I've had this dishwasher for about 6 months now and I LOVE it! It cleans better than expected. I figured I'd have to put dishes in almost clean, but I put soiled dishes in and they come out spotless. It only didn't clean one item, but in fairness it was a glass baking dish that I had made cornbread in 3 days previously. I had it covered with a plastic lid and just tossed it in the dishwasher as-is. It got some of the 3-day old layer of cornbread off, but not all of it. Other than that, it cleans superbly. It's also much quieter when running than expected. The noisiest it gets is when it dispels the water into the sink. Otherwise, the motor and water are pretty quiet when running. I wish the silverware basket was along the side, but that's just me being picky. I do worry about the plastic "catch" that keeps the dishwasher closed. It's not necessarily cheaply made (the plastic is thick and does seem tough enough), but what we do in my household is only close it UP TO where it doesn't latch shut UNTIL we run it. I think that will save a lot of wear and tear from opening/shutting the latch all the time. It's fairly roomy (it's a compact dishwasher, not a full-sized one so it won't hold a ton of dishes) and for a 2-person household, we run it 5 - 7 times per week. And on days where I cook a lot? I've run it in the morning and evening. And I'm happy to do so because it saves me the drudgery of having to hand wash dishes! So far, a very good purchase!

Good compact dishwasher, works well, very quiet. It took a while to totally eliminate leakage at the kitchen faucet with the supplied aerator, but it's OK now. Unit doesn't dry the dishes; I just open the door after cycle is complete to allow drying.

Recommended Product:

I'm very happy with my purchase but have two minor complaints:1) If using the top left area for long utensils then trying to use tall glasses becomes difficult to find a spot where they are secure and 2) there is an area behind the utensil basket where it is more open to the "water sprayer" and limits what can be put in that area.
