Funny story. With my old refrigerator, I couldn't put anything in the center back of the top shelf otherwise the vent would get blocked with ice and the rest of the fridge wouldn't get cold. My new Dacor refrigerator works perfectly no matter what, but I still don't put anything in that same spot out of habit.

Having a noisy refrigerator is especially noticeable in our small apartment so I was almost happy when our old one broke. Found a nice looking Dacor fridge for a great price and it is effectively silent so I love it!

Being a bit frugal (to my detriment, my partner would say), I tend to put off problems with major appliances.
