Top stainless steel strip is a bit thin / flimsy, so that when closed, the ends do not appear flush with the countertop. Used this in conjunction with a stainless Whirlpool stovetop to replace a Jenn Air downdraft unit.

Pros: Easily adjustable vent outlet / direction configuration, making use as a replacement downdraft unit very practical.

This exhaust system is amazing. It looks like it comes from another planet. Attractive stainless steel. You press the button on the top and the exhaust rises up like magic. It has a rotary switch on the side that can make the exhaust go from low to very high. Much better than the previous JennAir exhaust system that was in place before. Highly recommend.

Pros: use instead of overhead hood. much more attractive than a hood. strong suction. quiet except at highest exhaust.

This product, though a bit challenging to self install if you are not experienced, is a great telescoping down draft vent, and it includes the blower in the unit which makes it much more affordable than other down draft vents available. The blower is quiet and adjustable to continuously variable speeds with the rotary dial. It`s stylish and futuristic in it`s design, and a must have for center islands that don`t want a hood in the middle of your kitchen to preserve the open feeling.

Pros: Pretty, effective, quiet, futuristic, telescoping

Works great. The install was very easy. It would not fit inside my 24 inch cabinet with an LG cooktop. The cabinet had to be rebuilt to allow for extra depth. Be sure to do your measurements to allow for the needed space.
