Bosch Electric Ranges
Bosch electric ranges are solidly crafted from stainless steel for years of dependable performance, and carry a variety of modern conveniences and features.
All of the electric ranges are slide-in with a protruding "lip" on each side of the cooktop that allows the top to rest on the counter while the oven is freestanding. This presents a low profile, lending a more streamlined appearance to your kitchen. They range from 36.5 inches to 38 inches in height, and all have a width of 30 inches.
The smooth cooktops have four or five heating elements, with power outputs ranging from 1,200 to 2,600 watts. Certain models use induction cooking in which the cooktop surface stays relatively cool while directly heating the cookware. Some models feature Bosch's patented FlexInduction cooktop, with can combine two cooking zones into one continuous surface. And the PowerMove feature goes even further dividing the FlexInduction surface into three preset power level zones which change when you move your cookware. Some models have SafeStart which ensures that an element is only activated if suitable cookware is in position, and some have a SpeedBoost feature that heats water twice as fast as a conventional ceramic cooktop.
These large-capacity electric ovens have a power output of 3,800 watts. Several have a convection cooking option. All ovens have several specialized cooking modes including a self-cleaning feature, and are Star-K certified with a Sabbath mode for preprogrammed heating. Certain models feature telescopic oven racks for ease of food handing, a built-in guage to monitor the internal temperature of your food, warming drawers, and QuietClose doors that eliminate slamming.
