This is a very good machine. It is not as quiet as the Bosch, but it works with a kind of very soft swishing sound during the wash and rinse phases. Like the Bosch, dishes are not completely dry when the cycle is done. You have to open the door a little and let them air out. This seems to be a European thing. When I had a new Bosch in Seattle, I didn`t like that you had to program the cycle you wanted each time you loaded the dishwasher. Also I`ve read that the labels of the Bosch get wiped off with use. This unit remembers your program from the last cycle run and that makes it a snap to use, just confirm from the display that the last program is still indicated and press power and close the door; and the labels are etched in in a a modern design and are not going anywhere. I was nervous when I bought this unit, thinking I maybe should have bought a Bosch, but now that I`ve had it for a few months, I know I bought the right unit for me.
