Assembly was not too difficult, you just need a little patience. Once put together, everything opened and closed properly. That just makes it feel like better quality to me.

Extremely well made, heavy, solid enough to last long and it was well packed when shipped. Bought this American Woodcrafters dresser from Heirloom collection for my mother in law's room. It took me a few hours to build. Very satisfied with this solid piece.
