   Heavy and solid. Glad I grabbed 4 on sale. Good enough for a governor’s mansion. The chairs are a great size and very contented. They are also SO robust. I loved the color choices, I ended up getting 4 chairs of 2 different colors- it added a little personality to the place I wanted to have them
