Pros: Has lasted a long time-30+ yrs.
"US Stove 24A is USSC` version of my Jensen Stove, which was bought by USSC, about 1998, I believe. My Jensen is about 30 years old, heating my 1700 sq.ft home in Wisconsin,in times of -20 degrees, burning roughly 5 cord of wood per season. In all that time it has yet to fail me, and has no parts needed. Warm it up slowly, don`t over fire it, treat it right and it should last a long time. The only visible differences in the new ones are the twin blowers, mine only has one, the door latches, the vent on the ash drawer, and the design of the loading door. The rest appears to be the same. If the electrics and the quality match my old Jensen , I highly recommend as a stand alone or as an assist to an oil or gas furnace. I have yet to burn coal so I have no imput on that feature. Although with the induced draft fan I see no problems with the burning of it. SRG in WI." Will Recommend: Yes
