The unit features a 65-pint removal capacity under AHAM conditions (60% relative humidity at 80°F), a wide range of humidity settings, and 2 operating speeds. With such a variety of settings, this dehumidifier is sure to bring you flexible relief from damp, musty air.


Controls Humidity and Its Harmful Effects
The Supentown SD-65E Dehumidifier is designed to remove excess moisture from your home quietly and efficiently. A necessity for those suffering from dust mite, allergies or simply for those who wants to keep their indoor humidity at a comfortable level. Air that is too damp can cause itchy skin and nasal passages, condensation on windows, water damage to materials, mold growth and rotting of wood materials in your home. The SPT SD-65E dehumidifier removes moisture from the musty air so you can enjoy year-round comfort in your home or office.

With the unit's touch-button electronic control panel, you can easily adjust your room's humidity in 5% increments, keeping it as low as 35% or as high as 80%. For greater choice in settings, the unit features two separate fan speeds – Normal and Turbo – and a continuous dehumidification mode. Additionally, this Sunpentown dehumidifier operates in temperatures ranging from 41°F to 90°F. That means you'll get reliable performance in a variety of conditions.

Dual Drainage Options
The Sunpentown SD-65E can drain collected water in 2 ways – manual or gravity drainage. To manually drain the unit, simply empty the 10 liter water collection bucket when it becomes full and replace. To prevent overflow accidents, the dehumidifier is equipped with a full bucket indicator light as well as an automatic shut-off function. The auto shut-off control cuts power to the unit in the event that the water container becomes full, and you are not available to empty it.

For gravity-guided drainage, the dehumidifier features a continuous drainage port. To set up this configuration, simply connect a drainage hose (not included with the unit) to the port and direct the hose downward into a nearby drain. Collected water will continuously flow out of the unit.

Eco-Friendly Operation
This Sunpentown unit is not only good for controlling excess humidity. It's also good for environment. This is possible because of the unit's energy-saving components, including a more efficient refrigeration coil, compressor, and fan.

The SD-65E also uses a CFC-free refrigerant – R-410a – to help protect the ozone layer. CFC refrigerants, or chlorofluorocarbon refrigerants, have been found to cause rapid ozone depletion. They also contribute largely to the greenhouse effect. The R-410a refrigerant has zero ozone depletion potential.

What exactly is an Extended Service Plan?
An extended service plan is generally an extension of your original manufacturer's warranty. Most manufacturers warranty their products to be free from defects for up to one year from the date of purchase. When does my warranty start?
Depending on the type of coverage you own, an extended warranty begins at the conclusion of the shortest portion of the manufacturer’s warranty. If the manufacturer’s warranty was 90 day labor and 1 year parts, the extended warranty would begin on the 91st day and continue for the duration of the warranty period. All replacement, commercial and accidental plans begin on the date of purchase.
Why does my plan say "under $1000"?
Some plans carry a dollar value on them. This means that your product's purchase price, excluding tax, delivery and accessories is below the listed price on the contract. It's simply a classification based on the price of purchase of the product under warranty.
What does an accidental plan cover?
If you have added Accidental Coverage to your plan, this plan shall cover unintentional damages as a result of: impact, liquid damage or unintentional physical damage. Accidental Coverage does not cover intentional damages of any kind to the covered product or losses due to theft. Accidental Coverage does not cover willful damage, misuse, damage due to neglect, drops over 6 feet, fire damage or full immersion in water.

Accidental Coverage does not cover damage caused by the use of a product in a way the manufacturer never intended. Coverage for this plan shall begin 30 days after the date of purchase of the covered product.
