More Energy-Saving Tips

  • Make sure the door seals are airtight.
  • Allow air to circulate around the condenser coils by leaving a space between the wall or cabinets and the refrigerator.
  • Also, keep the coils clean.
  • Position your refrigerator away from any heat sources, such as an oven, dishwasher or direct sunlight from a window.
  • Keep your refrigerator 35-38°F and your freezer at 0°F.
  • Minimize the amount of the time the refrigerator door is open.
