"I always seem to miss incredible deals but I finally scored with appliancesconnection.com. I
ordered both the dryer (PFDS450ELWW) and the washer (PFWS4600LWW) and on 12/1/11. Going by the
MSRP it was basically a buy one get one free deal.
I received the tracking number on 12/7/2011. The trucking company called within the next few days
to set the delivery time and both appliances arrived in flawless condition. The delivery team
unboxed both appliances and brought them into my home without issue. My delivery arrived in the
early evening and the delivery team still had additional stops and a long drive back to NY but had
no problem answering questions.
We have a 6-month old and upgrading from a mid-90's dryer was long past due. We are impressed with
the amount of laundry this machine is capable of drying in a single load. The CleanSpeak option,
which communicates load information from the washer to the dryer, saves a few button presses,
which is nice. Due to letting CleanSpeak make the appropriate selections we have not yet had the
opportunity to try out any of the other features. I also like that the dryer alternates the
direction that the clothes are being tumbled, which prevents clothing from getting twisted up and
wrinkled. My pants would always knot up in the old dryer and require ironing but not with this one!
We have had the thick, elastic part of a few pairs socks still feeling just a bit damp after the
cycle had completed. Also, clothing can become snagged on the lint screen if you are not careful
when removing your clothing. The screen will disengage and start to come out. In order not to
damage it I now remove the lint screen and then remove the clothing.
Overall we are very satisfied with this purchase and extremely happy with the deal we received
from appliancesconnection.com."
