Our electrician had to telephone the company because the wiring is so weird, he had never seen anything like it before. then only 3 rings worked. The manufacturer wanted us to send it back so they could REPAIR it (a brand new product) and intended to leave us with no cook top for several weeks. Fortunately Appliances Connection (who were most helpful) have arranged for a new one to be delivered. The rings burn on the lowest settings and irritating flashing lights all the time, even when it is all turned off.
