HTWP1400FWW 3.7 DOE cu. ft. Capacity Washer With Plastic Ribbed Basket, Dual-Action Agitator, Auto Balance Suspension System & In White is rated 4.1923076923076925 out of 5 by 78.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Bad experience. 9 days after I bought this washer it broke down. The repairman who came a few days needed to order a part and the soonest appointment was 7 days later. A different repairman came and literally took the machine apart. He put it back together, declined to take the defective parts with him because he said he might accidentally use them on another job. He did a partial wash and it seemed ok. Later when I did a load, it turned out the basket was unbalanced and was scraping the rim. There were pieced of plastic in my laundry. Also the noise was so loud my next door neighbor came over to see what was causing such a racket.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from concerned about the balance This Hotpoint replaced a smaller sized Hotpoint I had over 15 years. (drain pump gave out) I'm having trouble adjusting the balance on it. I noticed you aren't supposed to wrap your larger items around the agitator, so I'm not sure what to do next, afraid there's a broken spring. I've had it only a week. I have a year's warranty, so I will definitely take advantage of it if I can't stop the "dancing". It doesn't continue throughout the wring cycle, so maybe I just need to check the balance front, back, sides again. Other than that, this machine is so quiet I'm not even certain it's working compared to my other Hotpoint! (It is, clothes are wrung out, no problems there).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great price / good value great value for the price! being a water saver, the power rinse cycle is a great feature.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from times should be put back on washer ie 10 minutes purchashed washer, dryer + stove. Knobs come off too easy on washer dryer. Stove drawer is too small.Should be same size as stove and the separation at top od draw allows spills to enter the draw itself. the top of the stove should not be tilted. it should be flat so that small canisters can be placed on top of it. IE tea bags, coffees and coco packets. T he timer on stove should be LOUDER so that you can here it if you are downstairs or far away from it. Otherwise so far all products are working properly.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Refrigator I bought this Refrigerator Model #GSH25JSDB SS in 2012, it works fine, but has a poor operator panel for the controls, the panel is black and I cannot see the control functions on the panel because it is black and I have to have an overhead light on to see the features, even when the panel light is on, I believe this is an overlook of the Co. and should be corrected if not all ready been accomplished... I wished that I had purchased another Brand or model...

Rated 4 out of 5 by from OK but not great I bought this washer about 3 months back it's an OK washer, does not clean clothes as good as our old washer. When the washer is spinning it has an whinnng high pitch sound, also when I stop the washer and then start the washer back up it agitates fast for about 20 seconds and then it slows down to what I think is it's normal speed. I believe if it washed with a faster speed it clean clothes better and be a better washer.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Dont like this washer at all! I bought this washer two days before Christmas when my current washer broke. The salesperson at the appliance store talked nonstop about this product, sold me on it. SHOULD HAVE READ THE REVIEWS FIRST - BUYER BEWARE!!! The basket is large but cannot handle a large load. Several times I've had to re-run the rinse, spin and drain cycles because the water doesn't drain. It can't handle the proper amount of laundry detergent (yes, I've read the detergent instructions and used the correct amount). I constantly have suds on the sidewalls of the basket after running a load through. The spin cycle seems ineffective as well, the clothes are SOAKING wet at the end of the load, not just damp. AND.....the "warm" water cycle isn't warm at all, it's COLD. I've adjusted the water line to try to add more hot water go get the water to warm but to no avail. SORRY I BOUGHT THIS WASHER!!!!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Eventually got to working state After getting one of these washers in early September we discovered that a major part of the machine had been inoperable from day one. It made incredibly loud noises during the wash cycle and moved around wildly in the laundry room. It was only the part that controlled the spin cycle so all clothing was wrapped around the agitator. Our dealer first tried to fix that defective unit but it didn't get fixed. We got a replacement model and found it only had a few inches of water during the wash cycle so most of the clothes didn't even get wet. After the repairman looked at machine #2 he determined that we needed to use the fabric softener cycle, even though we didn't use fabric softener, to encourage the washer to fill with the correct amount of water. Since then it was worked OK. This wouldn't be my first choice for a washer but at least it doesn't leak oil on the clothes like the old GE model did.
