PT7050SFSS 30" SC Convection Single Oven, with 5.0 Cu. Ft. Oven Capacity, Designer Style Handle, and Self Clean with Steam Clean Option, in Stainless Steel is rated 4.601063829787234 out of 5 by 188.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from works good Installed about a week ago. Error codes off the bat. We're kind of remote, so there was no GE service person in our area. I found an appliance repairman and hope I will get reimbursed. We pulled the oven out. It turned out the top fan was left unplugged from the harness at the factory. The top control panel lines up about 1/4 inch to the left of the oven. Repairman said there is no adjustment for this. It's built into the frame. With the door closed, the left side of the door is out about 1/4 inch. Same answer. Hopefully, the door will be ok after the seal is broken in. Right now everything I've tried works and it runs quiet. Fingers crossed.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Have had this convection oven for approx 2 months. First convection oven so I am still getting used to that feature. Love the design of the racks, with the cut out for oven mitts and the easy slide. Three racks come with the oven, but I'm not sure it is really large enough to be able to use 3 at a time and sometimes the very top rack is limiting to dishes in the center. It seems to take a little longer to preheat and I need to figure out how to the verify the temperature because it seems to cook a little hot. Foods brown more quickly and I think they are done sooner than the recommended cooking time but when I remove them, they aren't quite done.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Oven Woes:( I have had my oven 6 months and have not been sadly dissatisfied due to preheating delay and cleaning woes:( It takes 20 minutes to heat the oven up to 400 degrees and also its EXTREMELY hard to clean up spills on the bottom of oven since the heating element is covered and you cannot lay anything on the bottom of the oven:( I have used the steam cleaning (fine) and the regular cleaning (stunk horribly) but only a razor blade would truly work to get the bottom clean:((( Also, if you want to increase the temperature while you are cooking you cannot increase the temperature without turning it off and back on again which takes another 5-10 minutes to reheat again:(((

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice basic oven I cook for two 95% of the time, and work long hours - cooking is not my priority - I don't need a double oven, or an oven with too many features I won't use. This oven is perfect for my lifestyle. Someday I may try the Convection feature. The only issue I've had is that the oven door does not always shut tightly/completely - which if the oven senses the door is not tightly shut, the oven turns off. I always give an extra push to be sure the oven door is closed tightly. I also had trouble figuring out how to use the oven timer - I didn't think it was intuitive (i.e. it doesn't work like the 'matching' microwave timer.)

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good oven! I purchased this as part of a kitchen remodel. I enjoy the functions and love the convection feature. Have had a little problem with adjusting some recipes for convecton. It says it adjusts automatically, but is not necessarily on target. It seems to cook evenly. Had a major problem with the racks when it was first installed. They grabbed and were almost impossible to pull out. Apparently the graphite powder had not been used. At the suggestion of the sales rep, I oiled the slides, and it is much better. It is a little difficult to remove and replace the racks.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice, but probe function is not useful. I've only used this oven a few times so far, and it seems like a decent oven. I am disappointed in the probe function, though. If you use the probe and set the internal temperature you desire the food to reach, the oven will turn off once that temp is reached. That sounds good, right? The only problem is that the oven doesn't signal to let you know that the temp has been reached and the oven is off. Meanwhile, if you don't check on it constantly, your food remains in a hot oven and continues to cook. What good is that?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love This Oven! We bought this model because it was rated high for broiling and it hasn't disappointed - it does a great job. I've used the convection Hi Broil several times now for steaks, lamb chops and salmon and they have all come out just the way we like them. No need for an outside grill if you have this oven! It looks beautiful in slate and the controls are very easy to use. Really like the gliding rack as well. I'm so glad that we decided to go with the electric convection oven and separate gas cooktop. I couldn't be happier!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Single Wall Oven I purchased this oven along with an Advantium and slate French door refrigerator. I love the oven, especially the rolling rack. I wish they all rolled!! The only negative, and this is a big one for me since I don't see as well as I used to. The display panel is NOT backlit. It is almost impossible to see the letters without turning on a bright light and kneeling down to read each thing. Other than that I love it and I love the "sounds" it makes when cooking time has one minute left, then when time is up.
