Clothes dryers today have shortened drying times, reverse motion, and sensors that can determine when your clothes are dry. That’s why at Appliances Connection we have a wide variety of both gas and electric models in front loading, top loading, portable, and stackable configurations to choose from.
Appliances Connection carries all the top dryer brands, including LG, Samsung, and Maytag. If you have any questions or need help choosing the right dryer for your laundry room, please call 800-299-9470.
Which dryer is right for you?
There are two types of dryers: electric and gas. Gas dryers generally cost more but are cheaper to operate.
Electric dryers are easier to install but have higher operating costs. When considering an electric dryer, ensure your laundry room has a 240-volt outlet.
Gas dryers cost less to operate and dry faster and more evenly. However, a gas dryer is generally only a consideration in households with gas hookup.
When determining which type of dryer is right for your laundry room, you first should consider what size meets your need. If you live by yourself in an apartment, a compact dryer will be sufficient. However, if you have a large family with constant need to dry comforters and jackets, you may want to consider large or extra large capacity.
Check your dryer hookup, which will determine the type of dryer you’ll need. If you want to change your dryer’s fuel source, contact a professional contractor.
Many of today’s dryers allow you to track your energy usage. Some models will have ecomonitors on the dryer console that display energy usage and cycle efficiency. Some higher-end models even have sensors that are able to determine when your clothes are dry, and will automatically turn off.
Be sure to coordinate your dryer with your washer. Generally, you should have twice as much capacity in your dryer as the washer. If you’re looking for convenient, space-saving alternative, you should consider a stackable model.
Appliances Connection offers free nationwide in-home delivery, no sales tax, and full manufacturer warranties on all brand new dryer. Appliances Connection can even haul your old dryer away.
