- Portable grills can be placed and used on a table top. They are usually no bigger than about 2 feet wide. These grills are great if you are on a camping or fishing trip and can come in many different fuel types.
- Post Mount grills are installed atop poles, stands, pedestals, or posts and stuck into the ground or bolted to the patio. They offer a permanence the other grills don't offer, and are more resistant to damage by wind.
