Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not worth it This cleaner doesn't last very long. I use it twice a year and when there's an emergency. Twice the pump belt has broken and left me with a mess. The first time I ordered a replacement through Bissell and it took two weeks to get to me!! This time I haven't replaced the belt yet because I noticed that the silver bar that it is attached to is RUSTY!! It's probably why the first belt broke and I didn't notice it. I didn't realize the bar was suppose to be a silver color. Also, the pully that holds the brush belt fell off. Again I am left with a mess and stains on my four year old carpet!! This machine is only three years old and not abused.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Carpet shampooed I bought this one to replace my old one that just was worn out! My new machine works well, although using it on an old polystyrene rug that smelled like an old dirty, wet dog (!) still has some issues and will have to be shampooed for a third time to remove the last vestiges of the bad smell! I like that the machine is lightweight...much easier to use than my old machine. It removes more water than my old model and the means of dispensing soap is better. I just wish the machine had a light that goes on when you need to add more soap/clean water. You kind of get into a zone and don't realize that it's time to refill! Thumbs up on this machine, Bissell.i

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this machine Being a previous owner of the big green machine, which I loved but was very heavy. the pro heat is so easy to use. Lightweight and does a teriffic job. No back pain on emptying the dirty water. It is a smaller machine as far as the water container and the dirty water is concerned but It is something I can handle by myself. It also does as good a job if not better, taking out pet stains and general cleaning. I find that I can use this as necessary and not break my back. I would recommed this to everyone. My daughter just borrowed it for her basement carpet and it did an excellant job on the stain that have been it the carpet awhile.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice product at a very reasonable price I like everything about this machine, except that the water tank is too small. I have to empty it quite often if cleaning all carpeting in the house and I wish it got closer to the edges of the carpet, but it cleans very well, is easy to operate and maneuver. It has a long cord which is nice. My last Bissell carpet cleaner was the canister type and it cleaned very well, but was a pain to get around (too big and bulky with too many hoses, wands, etc..). I am actually able to clean my carpeted steps with it. I have used this twice since I got it and so far I am impressed with it. It isn't too loud either which is a plus as well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It was bound to happen I ve had mines since 12/2010 and it worked fine. I have a small dog that misses the wee pad at times and a Daughter whos hair wraps around the brush after a while... I have had to take the brush off, to remove the hair at times... Now the water doesn't spray out the bottom, i assume the hole is clog since the spray attachment does work. I found a suggestion on the site that you should fill the tank with PLAIN warm/hot water and flush the system after use with cleaning formula / fluid as this may dry over time and cause clogging. All in All.. i was very happen for 2 years Hope this comment helps for the next person

Rated 5 out of 5 by from the very best&excellent product that we have ever purchased. I like the fact that the Bissell ProHeat Deep cleaning system will remove dark black stain's from our carpet. We have never ever found any other Deep Clean machine that will remove all of the deep down stain's in our carpet like the way Bissell ProHeat Deep cleaning system will remove. I Mean for Instance My Fianc'e Terry is a welder who works on Tank's at his Job, & the Bissell ProHeat removed set in stains that had been there for over a year. Me& my fianc'e are truly amazed at what this machine can do. We are truly sold on any product that Bissell has Built. Thank you so much for Building such a great great Product.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Good when work, water spray stops working not a great design This machine does a good job when it work, but the water spray stops working and the support to fix it is very bad. I opened up ever part that I could and cleaned it but to no avail. It stops spraying after only 8-10 months. I did not have the receipt as I had just moved and not fully unpacked all the boxes... Needless to say Bissell did not have good customer support and I can't find a affordable repair shop close to home. I am going to have to throw the machine out. I hope Bissell does a better job on these issues. I think this one was a lemon and Bissell should have stood behind their product. Not sure if I will purchase another Bissell product after this experience.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Prefer older model ProHeat I have owned a Bissell ProHeat for about 10 years, and loved it. However, when it stopped working, I ran out and bought a new one. To my chagrin, the new one did not have a separate soap container (which I find more convenient then adding soap to each bladder of water) and there was now a removable clear plastic piece on the front/top creating the channel for water collection. The new unit seems to constantly lose suction, I think because this piece does not fit perfectly well. This results in much water being left to soak in the rug. I had my old Bissell repaired for $90 and am now planning to sell the new unit.

What exactly is an Extended Service Plan?
An extended service plan is generally an extension of your original manufacturer's warranty. Most manufacturers warranty their products to be free from defects for up to one year from the date of purchase. This warranty virtually guarantees you that if your newly purchased product fails, the manufacturer will protect you from the high costs of replacement parts and labor necessary to repair your product. Extended service plans lengthen your product's coverage for up to an additional 60 months (5 years) to insure you get years of performance satisfaction from your newly purchased product.
How is this different than the manufacturer's warranty?
A manufacturer's warranty usually offers limited coverage for a limited time, with parts and labor carrying separate lengths of coverage. For example, a common manufacturer warranty of a product might cover a consumer for one full year on parts defects but only 90 days on the high cost of labor involved to change those parts. Extended service plans provide comprehensive, long term, even length coverage. This means that should your product fail within your plans coverage time frame, both parts and labor costs are covegrey.

What should I do if I need extended service?
Our extended service providers offer an easy to use interactive form online which you may use to request that they initiate a claim on your product. Your other alternative is to call the toll-free number on your extended warranty card or email and have a qualified representative make this request for you with the information you will provide. Who will perform the service on my product?

Will I have to pay a deductible or any other "hidden costs"?
Generally, the amount of a deductible is almost always proportional to the amount of the premium charged. In order to have a lower deductible, even as low as $0, the plan holder would generally have to agree to a higher premium. For those who want lower premiums, they must agree to a higher deductible. Our extended service plans carry a $0.00 deductible along with low premiums. This means that with an extended service plan there are no high upfront costs and they are committed to cover 100% parts and labor costs on any authorized claim.
When does my warranty start?
Depending on the type of coverage you own, an extended warranty begins at the conclusion of the shortest portion of the manufacturer’s warranty. If the manufacturer’s warranty was 90 day labor and 1 year parts, the extended warranty would begin on the 91st day and continue for the duration of the warranty period. All replacement, commercial and accidental plans begin on the date of purchase.
Why does my plan say "under $1000"?
Some plans carry a dollar value on them. This means that your product's purchase price, excluding tax, delivery and accessories is below the listed price on the contract. It's simply a classification based on the price of purchase of the product under warranty.
What does an accidental plan cover?
If you have added Accidental Coverage to your plan, this plan shall cover unintentional damages as a result of: impact, liquid damage or unintentional physical damage. Accidental Coverage does not cover intentional damages of any kind to the covered product or losses due to theft. Accidental Coverage does not cover willful damage, misuse, damage due to neglect, drops over 6 feet, fire damage or full immersion in water.

Accidental Coverage does not cover damage caused by the use of a product in a way the manufacturer never intended. Coverage for this plan shall begin 30 days after the date of purchase of the covered product.
