A distinctive addition to your traditional-style bedroom set, this 6-Drawer Chest has a unique alternating concave and convex design that is characteristic of true Goddard-style furnishings. This piece from the Lasting Traditions Collection is made of solid Mahogany, framed with Cherry and Mahogany veneers in a Brandy Wine finish. It stands just under 60” tall and has six 14 1/2” deep drawers with English dovetail corners, double side guides that let drawers extend fully, and positive stops that keep even the fullest drawers in place. The drawers of this heirloom-quality piece are finished on the inside to prevent snagging, and the top drawers have felt bottoms to keep fineries in place. Each drawer also has two handles made of 18th century-style back plates with swinging brass rails along with a single brass escutcheon.
